CoFeeMOOC: Designing Contingent Feedback for Massive Open Online Courses

CoFeeMOOC is a project in collaboration with the University of Valladolid that aims to provide automated, contingent feedback to MOOC participants. Currently, CoFeeMOOC has organized two international workshops (more here and here) and still going strong!

Our main goals within this project are:

  • to communicate how we can identify and support struggling learners by providing appropriate feedback in MOOC contexts
  • to highlight the importance of addressing learners’ problems together with learning design, and
  • to reflect on specific feedback strategies based on learners’ behaviour evidence
